Hiking in beautiful Colorado - Katie Murphy

Born in Stuttgart, Germany, Katie started off life as an Army brat. When she was young, her family moved frequently, settling in to her parents' hometown, Miami, FL. Katie spent her formative years in an urban area that was full of conflict. The Air Force was her way out of the poverty and struggles at home, and at 21 years old, Katie enlisted as an imagery analyst.

She married and had a couple kids, moving from Texas to Virginia, Colorado, Oklahoma, and back to lovely Texas. Now divorced, Katie left active duty and spent several years in the Air Force Reserves. During her time as a Reservist, Katie was given the opportunity to be an Air Force Historian by the Air Force. It was a dream come true - Katie was a writer.

Since then, she has authored numerous articles, ghostwritten blogs, completed scripts for documentaries, and authored complete books. Katie spends a couple hours a day glued to the computer with her mind open and her fingers smoking up the keyboard.
